Tybee Island Floating Christmas Parade

Published by Tybee Concierge under Activities, Boating/Fishing, Kids and Families

The Crab Shack sponsors a floating Christmas Parade in early December. The parade takes place to help gather food for the Second Harvest Food Bank in Savannah. The entry fee for each boat, crew member and participant is a non-perishable food item. There are prizes for best decorated boat, best costumed crew, most lights and best commercial entry. Watch for the date.

After the parade, join everyone at the Crab Shack for the awards ceremony, happy hour drink specials and after parade munchies.

Don’t forget to bring a non-perishable food item for Second Harvest. www.thecrabshack.com or 912.786.7009.

Did you know that there are a number of species of aquatic life that are threatening the environment, local economies and human health? The species became established along the Atlantic coast from southern Florida to New York.
