Right on the water, Cafe Loco offers an array of foods, music and events. They are at Lazaretto Creek as you first come onto the Island. They feature terrific seafood along with wonderful steaks, and have a full bar, with lots of TV’s for those special sporting events. The Crab Shack is a Tybee icon. They offer steamed or boiled seafood, BBQ ribs and chicken served low country style at the water’s edge on Chimney Creek. The Crab Shack offers specials throughout the year, but one of the favorites is the visit by the Junkanoo Tribe. This colorful and talented group appear in the Tybee St. Patrick’s Day parade and then nightly at the Crab Shack on that weekend. Watch for the exact dates on the events calendar.
