About Tybee Island’s Beach
Public Beach Locations. There are 5 miles of public beach, but two distinct areas are most frequented.
Beach Access for Wheelchairs. Enjoy our beach–we have several mobi-mats for wheelchairs, and 2 beach wheelchairs for your use.
Beach Rental Equipment. There are several companies on Tybee that for a fee will supply you with chairs, loungers, umbrellas, etc….
Beach Rules. - Tybee Island - Savannah’s beach, has a few rules for beach use. Also we ask that you not leave cigarette butts on the beach.
Parking on Tybee - Almost everywhere you park you must pay, unless you are at a private residence or private rental unit.
