Bunking In at the Mighty Eighth Air Force Museum
Experience a night at the Mighty Eighth Air Force Museum by BUNKING IN! Learn what it would have been like to be a member of the Eighth Air Force during WWII. A mission briefing and dinner will kick off the night followed by a unique tour by Rosie the Riveter then learn the techniques of a bombing mission and explore the Museum’s combat gallery by flashlight and relax while watching a movie before bedtime! All airmen and airwomen will be called to breakfast by an authentic bugle call! Breakfast will be served in the Pub before learning and experiencing an activity about downed airmen in the Memorial Gardens. Participants will receive personalized dog tags at their Mission debriefing before returning home. There are a few options to appeal to the masses.
Bunking begins at 5:45pm and ends the following morning at 9am. Reservations are required and spaces are limited in each sleepover night. Bring your sleeping bag and explore the Museum as its never been explored before! Please see www.mightyeighth.org for rates of Bunking In or contact Heather at 912-748-8888.
