Savannah Pride Festival
The 2009 Savannah Pride Festival takes place at Forsyth Park on Saturday, August 8, from 10 am until 10 pm. Performers this year include Tiffany, Julie Goldman, Tommie Ross, Halcyon, and Josh Duffy, and if you’re attending with kids, be sure to check out the Savannah Pride Family Fun Area, which has crafts tables and games. There’s also an Official Kickoff Party on Friday, August 7, at Bryson Hall (5 E. Perry St.), and a Pride After Party held Saturday night from 10 pm until 3 am at the famed Club One, the city’s most famous GLBT bar and disco.
Additionally, numerous bars as well as gay-popular restaurants, hotels, and shops have special events and parties throughout Pride Weekend. Savannah Craft Brew Fest
Love beer? We’ve got the event for you! On September 4th and 5th the Craft Brew Fest will feature 120 different craft brews, live entertainment, delicious food offerings and sourvenir items for sale. On Friday, they’ll hold the Craft Brew Food Pairing Dinner at the Morris Center at Trustee’s Garden on E. Broad St.. It begins at 6:00 pm and the cost is $60 in advance, $75 at the door.
On Saturday, September 5, at The Esplanade, Savannah International Trade & Convention Center from 1 p.m. until 7 p.m. Overlooking the Savannah River and beautiful Historic Savannah, this outdoor event will feature 120 different craft brews, live entertainment, delicious food offerings and souvenir items for sale.

Labor Day on Tybee and in Savannah
There are a myriad of events happening in Savannah and on Tybee Island, GA during the Labor Day holiday.
First, come to the Savannah Craft Brew Fest on September 4th and 5th. This outdoor event will feature 120 different craft brews, live entertainment, delicious food offerings and souvenir items for sale. Next, September 4th at 9:30 come and see fireworks on River Street in Savannah.
Then on September 5-6 is the River Street Labor Day Celebration and First Saturday Event. From 9:00 am until 7:00 pm River Street in Savannah will offer food, arts and crafts, free entertainment, and family fun.

Living History Saturdays at Ft. Pulaski
Love history? Come to Ft. Pulaski near Tybee Island and relive it in the re-enactments presented by the Fort on Saturdays. They fire the cannons, have staff dress in period costumes, tell the tales of the battles, and re-live what life was like during the 1800’s AND the Civil War.
