Georgia Sea Island Festival

Brunswick and St. Simons Island, about a 2 hour ride from Savannah, offered a concert and dramatic presentation every June at Brunswick’s Ritz Theater. There were spirituals, gospel and blues singing, the Georgia Sea Island Singers, folk dancing and Gullah/Geechee craft demonstrations going on all weekend.
