The Crab Shack-Where the Elite Eat in Their Bare Feet
A Tybee icon, the Crab Shack offers a fun time in every way. The food is fabulous and includes their famous mouth watering linquine in white clam sauce and their crab stew. They have every kind of seafood served low country style, as well as pulled chicken, pulled pork, and Brunswick stew. They have a daily lunch special for $6.99, served everyday from 11:30 am to 3:00 pm. Every Tuesday is Hospitality Industry Night and from 7 pm to closing they have food and drink specials. There are full service Tiki Bars inside and out and they can seat over 600 guests. Their venue offers seating outside in their Jimmy-Buffet-type atmosphere where you can listen to the tunes of island life, or seating inside the eclectic restaurant. Parking is free.
They have things for the kids including an alligator tank where one can view the baby alligators; Captain Jack the turtle; and various wildlife.
The Crab Shack offers specials throughout the year. One of the favorites is the visit by the Junkanoo Tribe.
