The Foody Tour

The Foody Tour takes you in an air-conditioned coach to no less than 7 different places for artesian baked goods and culinary traditions. Sample shrimp and grits, BBQ, fried green tomatoes, southern fried chicken, mac and cheese, chocolate truffles, cupcakes to name a few of the items offered AND get in to see Paula Deen’s restaurant and store (one of the samples is an item off of her buffet). This tour is awesome!!! I was skeptical that (1) it would be enough food for the money, and (2) it would be great places. IT WAS BOTH! The places were wonderful–from artesian baked goods, to culinary trditions, to Paula Deen’s Lady and Sons. The bakery had the best icing on the cupcake that I’ve EVER had. And the little out-of-the-way BBQ was to die for. We were given generous helpings and I was stuffed at the end. I highly recommend this tour.
