Art on Tybee
Do you love art? We have it in all kinds of forms.
Art Classes – Every Mon. and Thurs. mornings the Tybee Arts Association gives classes in the old Teen Center. If you join the art association the cost is only $15 per session–a bargain in that the teacher is professionally trained artist, Denise Vernon. Her work is shown in several galleries and she often is commissioned to do private pieces. Not only is Ms. Vernon available, but the class has several other professional artists that also give guidance, instruction and commentary to the work of all students. Oils, acrylics, watercolors, pastels, chalk–are all taught–choose your genre. The classes frun 9:30 am to noon. Call 912-786-5726.
