Tybee is a great place to come when there are special events occurring. We have great venues for the whole family and we have the perfect places to stay, accommodating any number. Come to the beach for fun in the sun at these terrific upcoming events!!!!

August 31st - Labor Day Weekend Beach Bash - All good things must come to an end, and Tybee ends the summer with a blast!!! Enjoy the ocean breezes while live music fills the air from the Tybee Island Pier and Pavilion at Tybee’s Beach Bash. Celebrate with us with our fireworks show. 7:00-11:00 p.m. at the Pier.
September 11-13 - HOG Rally - Harley Davidson enthusiasts will converge on Tybee for a wonderful show of vintage and new motorcycles. www.gastatehotrally.com
October 10-11th - Pirate Fest - Arrgh…..the Pirates are coming to Tybee Island!! Come to witness as Tybee is overrun by pirates. Join in the revelry of this adventure filled and action packed weekend that will entertain even the smallest of swashbucklers. Hearty libations and victuals will be plentiful in our marketplace where for only a doubloon or two you can obtain treasure of all sorts. Weekend features a pirate invasion, thieves market, pirate parade, free live music, adult’s scavenger hunt, costume contest for all ages, children’s activities and more!!!! Arrgh, matey!
October 10-11th - Tybee Rod Run - love old and new hot cars? Come to Tybee for the Rod Run. See an array of old and new cars, polished and rarin’ to go on the road. A delight for car lovers!
October 18-19th - 12th Annual Festival of the Arts - this juried show on the pavilion is an absolute must for art lovers. Fine arts of all kinds delight the senses.
November 8-9th - Art in the Park - join us for our fall art show, featuring fabulous and outrageous arts and crafts. There’s something for everyone in this show by local and regional artists. If you love art, you’ll love the show. Come to Tybee and experience art!

I have attended the Pirate Fest every year since it was created (This is its 4th year)!
This event is so much fun. My favorites are the Parade which happens on Saturday afternoon and the great bands they book. It gets better and better each year.
I would definitely recommend coming to stay on Tybee for this.
