Right on the water, Cafe Loco offers an array of foods, music and events. They are at Lazaretto Creek as you first come onto the Island. They feature terrific seafood along with wonderful steaks, and have a full bar, with lots of TV’s for those special sporting events. They have live music most of the time and it’s great to just have a drink and watch the birds, the boaters and the marsh. 912.786.7810. Tybee is a small island, only about 2 by 3 miles; hence parking is a problem. Space is limited and you must pay wherever you park whether there are meters stationed there or not. Don’t be fooled if a meter is not at your spot–you must have paid parking notices in your window.

BEST BET: Parking is $1.50 per hour for a total of $18.00 a day–8:00 am to 8:00 pm. You can purchase a 2-day pass for $20. This will be your most economical way to take care of your parking long term. Go to the window at City Hall to buy one.
