Rainy Day Suggested Itinerary
It’s raining on Tybee! Rare, I know, but it happens. What do you do now? Here are some indoor activities you can do.
On Tybee:
Tybee Marine Science Center – indoor aquarium and exhibition of sorts.
Tybee Museum – inside Battery Garland of Ft. Screven-exhibits of Tybee and its history.
Cousin Vinnie’s arcade – for the kids-games and things to do.
Get a massage – we have two superb people on the island. One will come to you.
Rent a DVD – TVR will soon have a DVD machine with new releases.
Go shopping-Tybee has wonderful, eclectic shops.
Off Tybee:
Jepson Art Museum – art at its finest-includes a hands-on section for kids.
The Mighty Eighth Air Force Museum – fabulous museum for all ages.
Juliet Gordon Low childhood home museum.
Owens-Thomas House museum.
Ralph Mark Gilbert Civil Rights Museum
Art galleries in City Market.
A show at the Bull St. Theater
Movies at Victory Square cinema (15 min. away)
Bowling – AMF Lanes are 15 min. away.
Get a manicure/pedicure – on Wilmington Island.
Go shopping on River Street or at Oglethorpe Mall.
