City Market
City Market is a district whose area expands from Montgomery Street on the west (at Franklin Square), Barnard on the east (at Ellis Square), W. Bryan on the north and W. Congress on the south. It is full of shops, art galleries and restaurants and it is where you can get a carriage ride around Savannah. Old Savannah Tours stop at City Market and it’s only 2 blocks from River Street. If you are an art lover, this is the place for you; some art is expensive, but you also can find very nice pieces for decent prices. Some of the more unusual shops include a cigar shop and a shop containing very modern pieces for the home.
