Old Savannah Tours
The best way to see Savannah is by trolley from Old Savannah Tours. You can purchase tickets from the TVR Concierge desk which includes a discount, or buy them at the tour office at the corner of Liberty St. and Martin Luther King Blvd. in Savannah across from the Visitor’s Center. Tickets are $20 for adults and $9 for children for an overview tour; and $23 for adults and $11 for children for an all day on and off tour. Your ticket entitles you to free parking at the OST lot–a real plus as parking is at a premium.
Old Savannah Tours offers a Paula Deen tour that peeks into the life of famous southern cooking entrepreneur, Paula Deen. Guests visit her former residences, work places, shopping haunts, her specialty store, and current favorite shops. They receive a goodie bag and the price includes lunch at Paula Deen’s brother’s restaurant, Uncle Bubba’s Oyster House. Cost is $56. Call 912.234.8128 for reservations.
