Tybee Marine Science Center
Tybee Island Marine Science Center (MSC) is a wonderful discovery where science meets the sea! Located at 1510 Strand at the foot of the Tybee Pier, the MSC offers an array of activities including beach discovery walks, field trips for all ages, Scout patch programs, squid dissection labs, “Gyotaku” fish printing, hands-on center tour, summer sea camp, Tybee turtle talks, and Tuesday lectures. They have packages for birthday parties, holiday classes, and family programs. This non-profit organization’s mission is to promote the appreciation, conservation and understanding of the marine ecosystem of coastal Georgia through education and services. I think that the Tybee Island Marine Science Center is a great and educational place where kids can be at,so I would LOVE to go and visit this place and my SCORE class is taking a trip to this educational place and learn about a lot of things,but I can’t go.I would like to visit this place to experience about the coastal waters and their animals.
